General Info
Welcome to the Macau VEX Championships! This year, the competition will take place in Macau at the Macau University of Science and Technology (澳門科技大學) , on January 22nd-23rd, 2027. The event will feature the Middle School and High School divisions and includes Qualification Matches, Robot Skills Challenge, and Judge Interviews.
To be eligible for the Excellence Award, teams must participate in all judged and performance-based components of the event. Top-performing teams—such as Excellence Award winners—will earn a direct qualification to the 2027 VEX Robotics World Championship™ in April 2027.
The Macau VEX Championships aim to inspire young minds in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) by offering an interactive and competitive platform where students build, program, and compete with their own robots. The event encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation, helping students develop real-world problem-solving skills in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
We look forward to an exciting event filled with engagement, challenge, and passion.
The event will cost 350 MOP per team - if you would like this fee to be waived, please email robert.flower@tis.edu.mo for an adult to take on a volunteering role.
