Welcome to VEX V5 Robotics Competition™ (MS) Taiwan Championship

Event Overview

Welcome to the VEX V5 Robotics Competition™ (MS) Taiwan Championship! This is an official, two-day VEX V5 event designed exclusively for Middle School teams.

  • Grade Level: Middle School

  • Skills Challenge Offered: Yes (Not available for VURC/VAIRC)

  • Judging Format: Remote Engineering Notebook.

Judging & Skills Challenges

  • Remote Engineering Notebooks: Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link in the "My Account" panel of the team contact on events.vex.com. The submission deadline is 10-Jan-2027, 17:00 Taiwan Standard Time. Teams can participate in this event without an Engineering Notebook and still be interviewed, but the Team will not earn any top judged awards. For the most current award descriptions and judging criteria, please visit library.globalrobotics.org.
  • In-Person Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Each Team can bring their own physical engineering notebook as a presentation tool during the interview.

  • Robot & Programming Skills: Skill Challenges are offered. Please note that the Skills fields will close strictly at the conclusion of the very last qualification match.

Check-In & Late Arrivals

  • Strict Check-In Deadline: To ensure the tournament runs on schedule, all teams must be fully checked in 45 minutes prior to the start of qualification matches so the official match schedule can be generated and printed.

  • Running Late? If your team is delayed on the morning of the event, you must contact the Event Partner immediately. Teams that have not checked in on time and have not made contact will be automatically removed from the match schedule.

Judging Format

Remote Engineering Notebook. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link in the "My Account" panel of the team contact on events.vex.com . Teams can participate in this event without an Engineering Notebook and still be interviewed, but the Team will not earn any top-judged awards. Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy

All competition venues are indoor. In the event of a natural disaster such as a typhoon, earthquake, severe weather, etc., causing the organizer to be unable to hold the event as scheduled, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, change the date, or change the venue of the event at any time.
