2027 VEX Robotics World Championship™
Signature Events will be awarded 2027 VEX Robotics World Championship™ qualification spots if they meet all established criteria set forth by the Global Robotics and Science Foundation. Failure to fully comply with these criteria may result in the event being ineligible to receive 2027 VEX Robotics World Championship™ spots, regardless of prior expectations or historical precedent
Signature Event Early Bird Information
All Signature Events will have a specific Early Bird Registration that is independent of all local/regional Early Bird systems.
Each team starts the season with three (3) opportunities to register during the Signature Event Early-Bird period.
A Signature Event Early-Bird opportunity is not taken away if a team registers for a tournament hosted by their school or organization (where the team’s coach is the Event Partner).
If a team registers during the Standard Registration period, a token is not taken away.

Judging Format
• All Remote Judging - The Initial Team Interviews will be conducted remotely, and Engineering Notebooks will be submitted to judges digitally via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Initial Interviews and Notebook submission deadlines may be scheduled ahead of the event date.
Volunteer
Volunteers Needed! We will need a lot of volunteers to set up the venue on the preparation day and to operate the event smoothly on the competition day. If you are interested in being a volunteer, contact sasi@robolabs.org / 775-292-0134 . Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy
Bad weather should not affect this event. In case of a cancellation, the event partner will contact you as early as possible. Teams should make sure their contact information in events.vex.com is up to date and includes both school and non-school phone numbers. In the case of an emergency/bad weather, we will make adjustments to the agenda and notify all teams via email.
