The Uganda National VEX Robotics Championship 2026 is Uganda's premier robotics competition, bringing together teams from across the country to compete in the VEX V5 Robotics Competition™. Teams will participate in Tournament matches, Robot Skills Challenges, and judged awards.

Judging Format

• All In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in person on the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges. • All Team Interviews and Engineering Notebook evaluations will be conducted in person during the event. Teams are required to submit their Engineering Notebook during team inspection on the day of the event. Judges will review notebooks and conduct team interviews in accordance with the current VEX Robotics/Global Robotics & Science Foundation Guide to Judging. Teams are encouraged to ensure their Engineering Notebooks are complete, organised, and up to date before the event. Failure to submit an Engineering Notebook during inspection may affect eligibility for judged awards.

Volunteer

Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy

In the event of severe weather, civil disturbance, public health restrictions, or circumstances beyond the control of the Event Partner, the event may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled. Registered teams will be notified through email and VEX Events communications.
