Judging Format

Judging Format Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact on VEXevents. The Engineering Notebook link submission deadline is 7 days before, students may continue to work on their Digital Engineering Notebook up until the morning of the event.

Volunteers are essential to creating a positive, fun, and fair experience for all participants. Whether you’re a robotics enthusiast, educator, parent, student, or community member, your contribution makes a real difference. Why Volunteer? • Support STEM Education: Help inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers. • No Experience Needed: Many roles require no prior robotics knowledge—training and guidance are provided. • Build Community: Meet new people, develop skills, and be part of an exciting, hands-on event. Volunteer Roles We offer a variety of roles to suit different interests and experience levels, including: • Judges: Evaluate team interviews and engineering notebooks, providing constructive feedback. • Referees: Ensure matches are played fairly according to official rules. • Scorekeepers: Record and manage match results. • Field Reset Crew: Help reset the field between matches for smooth event flow. • Pit Admin: Assist teams in the pit area and provide information. • Check-In/Registration: Welcome teams and volunteers, confirm attendance. • General Event Support: Lend a hand wherever needed—set up, pack down, and more!
